how it works
- open the launch page and type any website. www., paths and https:// are stripped, so every site counts once.
- if nobody has registered it, pick a name and ticker and launch.
- that website is now locked to your coin. anyone who tries it after you loses the race.
- to launch, you connect your solana wallet and sign a free message that proves it's yours. no transaction is sent for that.
- when you launch, your wallet approves one transaction that creates the coin on pump.fun. your wallet pays the network fee, and it is set as the coin's creator, so pump.fun sends the coin's creator fees to it. that wallet is saved with the coin and shown on its page, so anyone can see where the fees for that website go.
- because each website can only ever have one coin here, the creator fees for that website are never split. nobody can launch a second coin for the same site on this launchpad and compete with yours, so every fee it earns goes to the wallet of the person who registered it first.
- while you approve, the website is locked to you for 3 minutes so nobody can take it mid-launch. it only counts as registered once the transaction is confirmed on solana. if you cancel, it frees up again.
